About Me

Unpredictable irritability with random notions of unrelenting predictability within the constraints of modern domestic relevance lead to the pursuit of this deviously disingenuous discussion of proprietary phonic artistry.

In other words….

Originally taking shape in 2014 Music Speaks Magazine was a solution for a long history of disappointment relating to music publications.

I saw a gap that needed to be filled. Mainly, the lack of inclusion for the independent, unsigned, and underappreciated artists on the ground floor. It occurred to me that in order to “make it” any new artist would need to wine, dine, and practically jerk off any media outlet that would give them the time of day.

To me, that just doesn’t make sense. After all, these artists are the ones paying for their subscriptions. Why shouldn’t they get the same opportunities?

That’s how MSM got started. I wanted to give everyone the same opportunity. If your music is awesome, you make it in. If not, well… try harder. Hell, we may even know someone we can hook you up with to help bring you up to speed with a few pointers. At the end of the day, we are a community of musicians. It shouldn’t matter if you’ve got 1 follower or 100 million. We all got into this because we love music. No one should ever have to sacrifice that love just to bring their passion out into the world.
